Summer Camp to be Held at Chickasaw State Park

Since 1950, Child Evangelism Fellowship of Memphis has sponsored Camp Good News, a week-long overnight camp held at Chickasaw State Group Camp for children ages 8 – 12 years old.

Camp Good News has all of the outdoor fun and excitement one would expect from camping in the woods like staying in cabins, swimming, paddle boats, campfires, fishing, games, and skits plus Bible study, missions time, and evening worship.

Campers have a good time swimming, boating, playing games, studying the Bible, and memorizing scripture. The camp dates are Sunday through Saturday, June 25 through Saturday, July 1, 2023 and July 2 through July 8, 2023.

Camp is $155 per camper. There is a non-refundable $45 registration fee per camper application, and the remaining $110 balance is due at check-in. The Camp Scholarship fund provides assistance for some children to attend the camp for one week.
