Commissioners Approve Pulse’s Recommendations for Industrial Board

At the November meeting of the Hardeman County Commission, Mayor Todd Pulse presented commissioners with a list of recommendations for appointments to the Industrial Development Board.

Instead of approving Mayor Pulse’s recommendations, commissioners voted to accept applications from citizens interested in serving before appointing any new members.

According to Mayor Pulse, twelve applicants submitted resumes. Nine were selected and presented to the Commission for approval at the January 17, 2023, meeting. Mayor Pulse’s recommendation included existing board members, Winfred Ray, Mike Miller, and Ricky Ayers and six new members. Each board member was appointed to a two, four, or six year term. The Commissioners unanimously approved the recommendation. The full list of appointees and their term length may be viewed below.

The Hardeman County Industrial Development Board is an independent corporation, whose duties include management, recruitment, and maintenance of industrial board properties.
