Lori G. Vandiver ~ June 13, 1962 – February 11, 2023 (age 60)
Lori G. Vandiver, 60, departed this life on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Bolivar General Hospital.
She was born on June 13, 1962, in Dyersburg, Tennessee to the late Harold and Frances Garner, living most of her life in Hardeman County. Mrs. Vandiver was a 1980 graduate of Bolivar Central High School, and started dating Eddie Vandiver when she was 14 years old. She married him on June 8, 1979. Mrs. Vandiver worked at Old line Insurance Agency in Bolivar for over 30 years. She enjoyed her career as an insurance agent, vacationing in Gatlinburg, singing karaoke, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Vandiver was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
Services were at the Shackelford chapel in Bolivar on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 11 a.m. with burial in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband of almost 44 years, Eddie Vandiver; daughter Brandy Faulk (Clark) of Bolivar; son Brian Vandiver (Lauren) of Whiteville; sister Tammy Pankey (Mike) of Dyersburg; and five grandchildren, Makayla, Layne, and Jaxson Faulk, Aiden Vandiver, and Madison Huff.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Garner; mother, Frances Farrow; sister, Connie Payne; brother, Ronnie Garner; and infant sister, Cynthia Garner.
