Arts Council to Hold Auditions for ‘Disney The Little Mermaid JR.’
The Hardeman County Arts Council (HCAC) is holding auditions for Disney The Little Mermaid JR. on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 10 a.m., Sunday, March 19, 2023, at 2 p.m., and Thursday, March 23, 2023, at 6 p.m. (new date added). Roles are available for ages 10 to adult. All people auditioning are asked to bring their own music (if needed, but not required) and be prepared to sing. There will be a piano and a CD player available, but you are encouraged to bring your music on a mobile device.
Synopsis: “In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home – and her fins – behind and live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking.”
The production dates are Friday and Saturday, June 2 – 3, 2023, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 2 p.m.
