The WAY: Resurrection Day, a free Easter event, will take place Thursday through Saturday, April 6 – 8, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. each evening at the Hardeman County Agribusiness Center, 210 Vildo Road, Bolivar, Tennessee. Parking is accessible from Highway 64. Read more about The WAY here.

Lee Ola Roberts Library in Whiteville will host its Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 7, 2023, at 1 p.m. Come see the Easter Bunny! Ages 12 and under. Ages 13 and up can hide eggs!

Grand Junction United Methodist Church will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 11 a.m. for Ages 2 – 10.

Chickasaw State Park Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 10 a.m. Bring a basket to the main parking lot and we will see you then! There are three separate age groups. 0-2 (with parents help), 3-6, and 7-12. Finders of the special egg in each group will win a prize!

Rockland Road featuring Small Shack will perform at the Hardeman County Arts Council on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 7 p.m. Read more about Rockland Road here.

Green Frog Restaurant in Downtown Middleton will hold its 2nd Annual Cruisin’ to the Frog on Saturday April 8, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All makes, models, and motorcycles welcome.

His Only Son (RATED PG-13) is showing at the historic Luez Theater! Showtimes are Friday, April 7, 2023, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The box office opens one hour prior to showtime for ticket sales.

His Only Son recounts one of the most controversial moments in the Old Testament—when Abraham was commanded by God to sacrifice his son Isaac on the mountain of Moriah. While traveling to the place of the sacrifice, alongside Isaac and two servants, Abraham is flooded with vivid memories from the years he and Sarah spent longing for the son they were promised—the son he must now lay upon the altar.
