GOVERNMENT AND COMMUNITY MEETINGS

The community is invited to join us in a remembrance program on Monday, September 11, 2023, at approximately 8 a.m. at the Bolivar Fire Department. The memorial processional will depart from Backwoods Restaurant at approximately 7:45 a.m. and travel on Highway 64 to Bolivar turning right onto North Main Street and then left onto West Jackson Street. Parking will be available in the city lot on West Jackson Street and in the parking lot next to the First United Methodist Church. West Jackson Street from Calhoun Street to North Washington Street will be closed from approximately 7:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. while the ceremony takes place.

Town of Whiteville Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting will be held on September 11, 2023, at the Community Center located, 151 East Main Street, 6:30 p.m.

Please join us at our September 2023 meeting of the Hardeman County Republican Party. The meeting will be at 100 South Main Street (Bricks Café) on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 6 p.m. After a meal we will be discussing and planning details for the upcoming Big Buck Contest event (September 23, 2023) and Tailgate Kickoff for 2024 event (October 21, 2023).

EXERCISE CLASS

Line Dance and Fitness Class will be held at the Bolivar Municipal Center, 211 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008, on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at 5 p.m. (advanced class) and 6 p.m. (beginner class), and on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 5 p.m. (advanced class).
