Bolivar Central High School Volleyball Players and Fans Come Out for Alumni Game

The BCHS Lady Tigers showed their skills on the volleyball court.

It was Bolivar Central High School against Bolivar Central High School (BCHS) on Saturday, August 5, 2023, as the current junior varsity (JV) and varsity Lady Tigers volleyball teams took on their predecessors at the BCHS Volleyball Alumni Game.

The fans had the opportunity to get a sneak peek at the 2023 BCHS Lady Tigers volleyball teams that defended themselves well against the ladies from past teams. The alumni ladies proved that although they graduated and may not have recently played volleyball, they could still play and handle themselves well on the volleyball court.

There were 12 alumni ladies in all who participated rotating in play against the JV and varsity teams. The BCHS JV team won after two sets with scores of 25/18 and 25/21 and the BCHS varsity team won after three sets with scores of 25/12, 25/21, and 16/14. Although Lady Tigers were on both sides of the volleyball court, there was a friendly division in the stands with fans cheering for the girls who represented either the current BCHS team and the BCHS alumni team.

BCHS Lady Tiger volleyball Kaitlyn Kelley Farris received her Class of 2015 senior banner.
