The Hardeman County Republican Party will host a free tailgate party for the Tennessee vs. Alabama game on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Bolivar Farmers Market Pavilion. The game begins at 2:30 p.m.
Total Transformation Line Dance and Fitness will hold its 2nd year celebration on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 7 p.m. at the Bolivar Court Square Amphitheater located at 100 Warren Street in Bolivar.
The Blind (PG-13) is showing at the historic Luez Theater! Showtimes are Friday, October 20, 2023, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. The box office opens one hour prior to showtime for ticket sales. Synopsis: The Blind is the true story of the Robertson Family.

Dress your pet in their Halloween best and bring them to the Stockdale’s Bolivar store from 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Get their picture taken by the Stockdale’s team to be entered into the contest. They will post all entries on their Facebook page and the photo with the most “reactions” will have the chance to win the grand prize during a spinning wheel done on Halloween Day. The winner with the most Facebook “likes” overall will receive a $250 gift card from Stockdale’s! Each participant will receive a goodie bag and coupon! BONUS: For each “reaction” on the costume contest photos, Stockdale’s will donate one pound of pet food to Hardeman Adoptable Animals Inc.
