Grand Junction Library News

September 2023

By: Diane Callahan

School is back in session and the Accelerated Reading (AR) Program is available again at the Grand Junction Public Library. We continually get new AR books at all levels. Come check us out! Now that Summer is almost behind us, it is time to start thinking about our holiday activities at the Library. This year, we are having a new event during the month of December and it is time to start preparing now. Throughout the month of December, we will have a Winter Wonderland with decorated trees, a Polar Express reading, hot chocolate and cookies and of course, Santa Claus! The Library is providing trees to be decorated as you wish. If you are a church, business, organization or individual, you may claim one of the trees to decorate as you wish. We provide the trees and you provide the decorations of your choice. We will also provide signs advertising the group that decorated each tree. Some of the trees are pre-lit, some are not, some have colored lights and some have white lights. First come, first serve on choosing your tree. You can choose your tree now and decorating will take place in November, at your convenience. Call or stop by if you have any questions at all! Grand Junction Library, 530 Madison Ave. W., Grand Junction, TN.
