Josh Pulse and the Hardeman County Assessor’s Office Recognized with the 2023 Three Star Certification
Hardeman County Assessor of Property, Josh Pulse, was presented the 2023 Three Star Certification before the Tennessee Association of Assessing Officers during the annual winter meeting. The certificate was presented on behalf of the Tennessee Association of Assessing Officers by the executive director, Will Denami.
“The Three Star Certification is a professional standard of operations recognized by the Tennessee Association of Assessing Officers. The certification represents an operational analysis for compliance in the numerous standards monitored by Comptroller’s division of property assessments, as well as a demonstrated commitment to continuing education. Josh Pulse and his team continue to meet and exceed the qualifications for his office and demonstrate his high standard of professionalism for the citizens of Hardeman County,” said Will Denami.
“In Hardeman County, our citizens come first and remain our priority. I am proud of the job we are doing in the office of the Assessor of Property. We strive every day to keep up with the latest standards and constantly changing laws. It is an honor to serve as the Assessor of Property and I personally want to make sure we do the best job we can to be honest, transparent and responsive to our community,” said Josh Pulse.
The Three Star Certification is an annual certification process where each office of the Assessor of Property is independently reviewed for technical compliance by the Comptroller’s division of property assessments. Each office must successfully complete the monitoring process and complete the necessary continuing education requirements for the Assessor of Property. Once the standards are met, the Assessor of Property submits application to the Tennessee Association of Assessing Officers for verification.
This past February, Pulse was also awarded the West Tennessee Assessor of the Year Award 2022 from the Tennessee Association of Assessing Officers.
