Senator Walley Announces 2024 Listening Meetings Start in January
(NASHVILLE) – State Senator Page Walley (R-Savannah) announced on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, the dates for his 2024 listening meetings which will take place prior to the 2024 legislative session which begins on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. This is the second year Walley has held these meetings. He said the meetings were a big success last year and that he is looking forward to continuing this New Year tradition to connect with constituents.
“The communities across all eight of my counties are full of well-informed, civic-minded citizens that have great ideas and important concerns regarding state government,” said Walley. “As their state elected official, it is my privilege and honor to have the opportunity to visit all eight counties and listen to the thoughts and opinions of our citizens. We had a lot of engagement with last year’s January Listening Meetings, and I look forward to doing it again soon. You could say this is becoming a New Year tradition in our district.”

Henderson City Hall – Council Chamber, at 11 a.m.
Hardin County
Savannah City Hall – Courtroom, at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, January 3, 2024
Hardeman County
Bolivar City Hall – Council Chamber, at 11 a.m.
McNairy County
McNairy County Courthouse – Courthouse Courtroom, at 2 p.m.
Thursday, January 4, 2024
Wayne County
Wayne County Courthouse – Courthouse Courtroom, at 11 a.m.
Lawrence County
The Reserve at One – Public Square, Lawrenceburg, at 2 p.m.
Friday, January 5, 2024
Haywood County
Haywood Justice Complex – Courtroom, at 11 a.m.
Fayette County
UT-Martin Somerville Campus, at 2 p.m.
“I encourage all citizens to attend,” added Walley. “This is a great opportunity for me to hear from you prior to the upcoming legislative session. I will also be available to assist with any issues citizens might be experiencing with our state government.”
