Bolivar Central High School and Middleton High School Play First of Two Area Basketball Games
It was Bolivar Central High School (BCHS) against Middleton High School (MHS) to set the scene for the first countywide match of the basketball season. Although there were two opposing teams, it was all about supporting the basketball players of Hardeman County.
BCHS Lady Tigers and MHS Lady Tigers achieved the following scores respectively throughout play:
1st quarter 11-10
2nd quarter 16-26
3rd quarter 27-36
4th quarter 46-56
MHS Lady Tigers took the win with 56-46.
BCHS Tigers and MHS Tigers achieved the following scores respectively throughout play:
1st quarter 14-11
2nd quarter 20-27
3rd quarter 46-28
4th quarter 64-44
BCHS Tigers took the win with 64-44.
During half time and in between both games, presentations were made by the BCHS Golden Tigerettes and the distinguished gentlemen of the Hardeman County Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity gave away two gift cards to students.
