She has nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. One granddaughter, Juniece Alexandria McTizic, preceded her in death.

Mother McTizic was a virtuous woman and a jewel to many. She was a woman of faith and servanthood. Her smile lit up a room and her harmonious voice was admired, and spirit filled.

Her words of encouragement to be FAITHFUL will forever be echoed in our ears and remembered in our hearts. Although she loved the word of God, one of her scriptures of faith was Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path.

Mother McTizic took delight in singing, crocheting, cooking, and praising God. In her years of faithful servanthood, God blessed Mother McTizic to serve 33 years as First Lady of the Zion Temple #2 Church (Now known as Zion Temple Community Church.). During that time, she worked faithfully by her husband’s side and was an exemplary first lady.

Before the decline of her health, Mother McTizic served locally as the president of the Mother Board of the Zion Temple Community Church, pastored by her son, Elder Donald, and his wife, First Lady Linda McTizic.

Mother McTizic was blessed to broaden her territory of servanthood by faithfully serving 12 years as District Missionary of the Rossville District and later serving 10 years as District Missionary of the Jackson District.

She leaves many words of wisdom, love and fond memories to be cherished by her children; sons-in-love; daughters-in-love; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and a host of spiritual sons and daughters.
