Blue Oval City Overview to be Presented Thursday Evening in Bolivar

The Southwest Tennessee Landowner Interest Group will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 6 p.m. at the Hardeman County Extension Office, 210 Vildo Road, in Bolivar, 38008.

Mr. Evelyn Robertson, board member of the West Tennessee Mega Site Authority, will be the keynote speaker. He will present an overview of the current and future plans for Ford’s BlueOval City that will build Ford’s electric pick-up truck.

BlueOval City will be among the largest auto manufacturing campuses in U.S. history. The all-new $5.6 billion mega campus in Stanton, Tennessee will create approximately 6,000 new jobs and reimagine how vehicles and batteries are manufactured.
