Chicago Jerk House Cuts Ribbon on New Location Offering Indoor Dining
For almost 10 years, Will and Keesha, the owners of the Chicago Jerk House, have been serving their customers from a small building in the city of Bolivar. When passing by the building on a Friday or Saturday evening, it has never been a surprise to see the cars lined up to patronize the business. On Friday, June 14, 2024, the Chicago Jerk House cut the ribbon in front of a new building where their customers will now be able to sit and dine on menu items they have enjoyed over the years.
Chicago Jerk House has been a walk up, order, and pick up location. Now, customers will be able to order, sit, and eat inside in the Bob Marley themed dining area or outside on the wrap around deck that includes cushioned seating.
“It was always our dream to purchase the building next door and make one side a sit down full service restaurant and the other side, a beauty bar,” said Keesha. “It took us a little time, but we did it! Also, our customers has been so faithful, they deserve a place where they could sit down and enjoy these mouth watering flavors instead of eating in their cars because they couldn’t make it out the parking lot without tasting their food.”
People who go to the Chicago Jerk House will enjoy a unique dining experience in atmosphere as well as in their food.
“The food is unique, because we came up with our own unique recipes and Caribbean flavors that is mouthwatering, and bursting with flavor as our customers describes it.” said Keesha.
Chicago Jerk House hours are:
Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 11a.m. – 3 p.m. for lunch and from 4 p.m. -10 p.m. for dinner.
Sunday Brunch & Soul from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
