Anthony Ford Announces Run for School Board

Anthony is native of Bolivar, and currently resides in Whiteville, Tennessee. He is the husband of Dr. Fabre Ford and the son of Edna Ford.

Anthony graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 1994 and furthered his education at The University of Memphis, where he received a B.S. degree in Education and then a Masters of Arts in Teaching. He is currently the Director of Parks and Recreations with The City of Bolivar. As a licensed teacher in Tennessee, he has taught in the public school system here in Hardeman County and has worked with children for the majority of his life. Anthony’s leadership skills and compassion for our kids are second to none. He understands the challenges of being an educator and Hardeman County needs leadership like Anthony Ford. He is a team player, our kids trust him, and our community believes in him. Early voting started Friday, July 12, 2024, and goes through Saturday, July 27, 2024, and voting day is Thursday, August 1, 2024. Our kids need representation on all levels of education and Mr. Anthony Ford is the man for the job! District III areas are Hornsby, Whiteville, Toone, Silerton, and in Bolivar. If you live in the Oak Hill Road area, Three-Way area, Dixie Hills, Hollywood Acres, and the Luther Griggs area. PLEASE, let’s get out and vote.”
