Fayette County Airshow Soars to New Heights with an Unforgettable Lineup

Prepare for an exhilarating spectacle as the Fayette County Airport proudly announces its highly anticipated 4th Annual Thunder Over Fayette County Airshow, set to take place on *Sunday, September 29, 2024. This year’s event promises to be a breathtaking showcase of aerial acrobatics, cutting-edge aviation technology, and family-friendly entertainment.
The Fayette County Airshow will feature a remarkable lineup of renowned performers, including the Titan Formation Team, Steve Covington and his Roll’N Thunder Jetcar.
The Airshow is welcoming back Kyle Franklin, Charlie Morris, and Nathan Hammond with his awe-inspiring night performance.
Those, as well as others will dazzle the audience with their gravity-defying stunts and precision flying.
“We are thrilled to host this incredible event that celebrates aviation and brings our community together,” said Rusty Bliss, Director of the Fayette County Airport. “This year’s Airshow is set to be our best yet, with an expanded program of performances and activities designed to captivate and entertain visitors of all ages.”
In addition to the spectacular aerial performances, the Airshow will offer a variety of activities on the ground. Guests can explore the latest Mobile Operations and Tower System (MOTS) assigned to the U.S. Army’s 101st Aviation Battalion from Fort Campbell, Kentucky. There will be static aircraft displays and several food vendors providing a range of food and beverage options. There is a “Fun Zone” for our younger spectators, as well as interactive activities such as face painting.
Gates will open at 3 p.m. on Sunday*, and the action-packed performances will begin at approximately 5 p.m. Tickets are available now by clicking here and early purchase is recommended as the event is expected to draw a large crowd.
