Square Dancers Fill Pantry for Fayette Cares
“Swing your partner, do-si-do!”
At the biggest dance of the year, Justin Russell of Memphis Top Spinners taught square and line dance moves to dozens of beginners.
Participants brought donations for the Fayette Cares emergency food pantry to kick off a 12-week class. Spinning and laughing, the group danced to a wide variety of music including pop and classic favorites. The room was filled with happy feet and caring hearts, as they loaded the Fayette Cares van with food for neighbors in need.
Dancers are invited to join the weekly classes on Thursdays from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Eads Civic Center, 12365 Washington Road, Eads, Tennessee. Call (901) 491-6524 for information.
