State Senator Page Walley, R-Savannah, officially began his second term in the Tennessee Senate on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, as he took the Oath of Office during the opening session of the 114th General Assembly. The ceremony took place in the Senate Chamber in Nashville, where other newly elected and reelected senators were also sworn in to their new terms.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue to represent the citizens of District 26 in the Tennessee Senate,” said Walley. “My pledge is to work every day to honor their trust. I look forward to working with my colleagues and Governor Lee to improve opportunities for all Tennesseans and address the priorities that matter most to our district.”

Senator Walley was re-elected in November to serve another four-year term. His distinguished career in public service spans over two decades. He previously served 10 years in the Tennessee State House from 1990 to 2000, in addition to his roles as Commissioner of Children’s Services in Tennessee and Commissioner of Human Resources in Alabama. Beyond his legislative duties, Walley is a licensed clinical psychologist and a minister.

A longtime resident of West Tennessee, Senator Walley lives in Savannah with his wife. They are proud parents of three children and grandparents to four grandchildren.
