Obituary: Richard Franklin Stowe
Richard Franklin Stowe, of Saulsbury, Tennessee, passed away peacefully in his home on January 19, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Richard was born on August 20, 1945, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late James Monroe and Elsie Louise Stowe. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren and was a member of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship Church.
Richard was a retired United States Postal employee and served his country in the Navy. He loved the Lord, bowling, camping, and working in the yard with his beloved wife.
Richard is survived by his wife, Debbie Stowe; his children, Christopher and Mary Bruce Stowe of Collierville, Shree and Tripp Good of Enumclaw Washington, Amanda Clutter of Saulsbury, and Melissa and Lynn Doles of Milan; his 10 grandchildren, Taylor, Joseph, Lynsey, Madison, Hunter, Emilee, Jayce, Bailey, Peyton, and Brantley; one great grandchild, Skylar; and sister, Shirley Price. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Stowe, Jr., and brother-in-law, Richard Price.
A celebration of life service will be held at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship Church, in Bolivar, Tennessee on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at 3 p.m.
Memorials may be sent to the American Lung Association or the Lung Cancer Research Foundation.
Richard’s memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
