Visit the Friends of the Bolivar Hardeman County Library Corner Bookshop located inside the library! There, you can purchase copies of beloved books at extremely affordable prices to add to your collection.

The Hardeman County Arts Council is holding virtual auditions for Little Women.

FRIDAY, JUNE 27, 2025
Southwest HRA is providing free meals to the children of Hardeman County this summer. Find out where and the times.

Disaster Recovery Center will set up at the Safehaven Shelter in Grand Junction for people affected by the April 2025 storms.

The West Tennessee Healthcare Satellite Clinic will be at the parking lot of Food Rite { 16240 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville 38068 } from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It offers free primary care, behavioral health, and substance use treatment services.

Have You Considered Home School?, a free home school information session, will be held at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library { 213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008 } at 1 p.m. If you are curious about home school or are currently homeschooling, come out tp learn about helpful resources and get your questions answered. The event is hosted by Homeschool Roster and the Hardeman County Homeschoolers. Although the event is free, you must register to attend.

Film Club Friday is being offered at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library { 213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008 } from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Enjoy free popcorn and watch the featured movie, Free Guy.

Take in a movie at the Luez Theater { 219 North Main Street, Bolivar, 38008 } where The Last Rodeo is showing on the big screen at 7 p.m. Synopsis“A retired rodeo legend risks it all to save his grandson. Facing his own painful past and the fears of his family, he enters a high-stakes bull-riding competition as the oldest contestant ever. Along the way, he reconciles old wounds with his estranged daughter and proves that true courage is found in the fight for family.

Music on the Square, which happens on the Courthouse Square and features the Lakelin Lemmings Band at 8 p.m.

SATURDAY, JUNE 28, 2025
Bolivar Farmers Market {110 Lafayette Street, Bolivar 38008} is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sassafras Farms {315 Hill House Road, Toone 38381} will have Yoga on the Farm with Candace Saulsberry from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

Grand Junction Farmers Market {216 Highway 57, Grand Junction, 38039} is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Stockdale’s Bolivar { 1675 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008} has a 75 percent off clearance special.

The Middleton Civitan Club presents the 3rd Annual Crossroads BBQ Battle will be held at Middleton City Park {Highway 125 South, Middleton} at 10 a.m. Adult and children competitions will be held. There will also be vendors and food trucks.

Wee Care ABA {200 Harris Street, Whiteville, 38075} is holding its grand opening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a petting zoo, bounce house, train rides, and sno cones.

The Bolivar-Hardeman County Library {213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} has new Saturday hours, which are now 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Juneteenth Community Festival will be held at West Junior High School {13100 Tennessee-194, Oakland, 38060} from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be music, food trucks, community speakers, arts and crafts, vendors, and a water slide.

The Town of Oakland presents 4th of July Independence Day at West Junior High School { 13100 Tennessee-194, Oakland, 38060 } at 5 p.m. and the fireworks show is at 9 p.m. Come out and enjoy music, food, bounce houses, and a performance by Alexis Jade and the Gemstones.

SUNDAY, JUNE 29, 2025
The Ross Family will be in concert at Hebron Baptist Church {2580 Hebron Road, Middleton, 38052} at 6 p.m.
