Mennonite Fall Festival will be held at Byler’s Woodcraft & Furniture {655 US-64, Whiteville, 38075} to support the Whiteville Mennonite School. There will be a live auction (starts at 10 a.m.), items for sell, and a lot of delicious food, from breakfast of eggs, sausage, hash browns, fresh donuts, yogurt, juice, and coffee (serving at 7 a.m.) to lunch of pork BBQ, grilled chicken, slaw, baked beans, and homemade pies (serving from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Also, stop by Bäckermann’s Country Market {240 U.S. Highway 64, Whiteville, 38075}, which is also part of the festival.

Bolivar Farmers Market {110 Lafayette Street, Bolivar 38008} is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Town of Whiteville is holding a Breast Cancer Walkathon supporting breast cancer survivors and patients at the Whiteville City Park {318 West Main Street, Whiteville, 38075}. The Bolivar Middle School Beta Club is having a car wash fundraiser at AutoZone {1353 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008} from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will also be selling snow cones.

Hardeman County Arts Council {1580 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008} is holding auditions for its Christmas production, Believe! – A play with traditional Christmas music at 10 a.m.

Hardeman County Community Health Center {627 Nuckolls Road, Bolivar, 38008} is holding a Breast Cancer Awareness Event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a Ladies in Pink stroll, balloon release, vendors and speakers, and refreshments.

Bolivar Energy Authority (BEA) scheduled power outage for Hebron Substation service area. BEA is planning a scheduled power outage for a portion of the Hebron Substation service area from midnight to approximately 2 a.m. The planned outage is weather dependent. The affected service areas include Highway 125 South south of the Hebron Substation, Maxwell Road, Lisbon Road, Peavine Road, and all roads that intersect Peavine Road and Powell Chapel Road from and including Kirk Loop south to and including Powers Road. Brints Chapel Church {3260 Brints Chapel Lane, Middleton, 38052} Old Fashion Day will be held at the church from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be worship, lunch, and games.

Porter Creek Baptist Church {5120 Peavine Road, Middleton, 38052} is holding a Fall Festival from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be bouncy houses, games, hayrides, and pony rides. Food served will be chili and hotdogs, snow cones, popcorn and nachos, and a lot of candy. The event is free.
