Southwest HRA is providing free meals to the children of Hardeman County this summer. Find out where and the times.
The West Tennessee Healthcare Satellite Clinic will be at the parking lot of Food Rite {16240 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville 38068} from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It offers free primary care, behavioral health, and substance use treatment services.
The City of Bolivar is holding a Community Water Day at the West Park Ballfields in Bolivar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be drinks, food, and fun. Admission is free as well as water toys for the kids. Need transportation? Call Mauriceo at (731) 212-1935 for more information about a free rides to and from the event.
The Science Guys is being held at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library { 213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008 } from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. All ages are welcome.
First Baptist Church Middleton {525 North Main Street, Middleton, 38052 } is holding a Back to School Bash from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Free school supplies will be given away.
Hardeman County Carl Perkins Center hosts Christmas in July, a kickoff fundraiser, for the Festival of Trees at The Columns {303 West McNeal Street, Bolivar, 38008} from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
Take in a movie at the Luez Theater { 219 North Main Street, Bolivar, 38008 } where Superman is showing on the big screen at 7 p.m. Synopsis: “Superman,” DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures. In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.”
Music on the Square, which happens on the Courthouse Square and features Chase Antwine opens at 7 p.m. for Mississippi MOJO, which takes the stage at 8 p.m.

Bolivar Farmers Market {110 Lafayette Street, Bolivar 38008} is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Grand Junction Farmers Market {216 Highway 57, Grand Junction, 38039} is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Hardeman County Healthcare Center {629 Nuckolls Road, Bolivar, 38008} is holding Super Heroes for Education, a heroic kickoff to a healthy school year, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be vendors, food, music, games, and supply giveaways.
Youth Villages Foster Care webinar will be held at 10 a.m. CST. Learn how you can make a difference.
Stop by Walmart {1604 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008 } and Stuff The Bus with backpacks, school supplies, and classroom essentials for area students from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is a joint school supply drive by the Salvation Army, Bolivar Fire Rescue Department, and Walmart Bolivar.
The Bolivar-Hardeman County Library {213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} has new Saturday hours, which are now 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Bolivar-Hardeman County Library {213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008} is holding its Summer Reading Award Day ceremony from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
3rd Annual Hickory Valley Fire Department Fish Fry Fundraiser will be held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. A fish plate is $20 and includes Top O’ the River Fish, and sides of fries, coleslaw, hush puppies, and a dessert. Tickets may be purchased from any Hickory Valley firefighter or on the day of the event. The event will be held at the Hickory Valley Fire Department {7111 Tennessee-18, Hickory Valley, 38042}.
