Obituary: Arlene Berkowitz Perez
Arlene is a Texan native who moved to Tennessee in May 2019. For the past two years, she was a resident at Christian Care Center of Bolivar and passed peacefully and on her terms on Monday, May 12, 2025. She was married to her “cup of tea”, Hector Perez, for over 50 years.
Arlene’s survivors include Mark and Diane Perez; Teresa Sharon Tarin; Toie Lynn Gomez; Kennith Wayne Perez; Pauline Perez and Fred Ramsey; Eileen and Eddie Hernandez; and Kristina and Jeff Marshall. She had 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister; husband; and son, Charles David Perez. Her soul is at peace. Arlene will be interred with Hector at the Houston National Veterans Administration Cemetery with a small service later this summer.
