Disaster Recovery Center will be open in Grand Junction from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to assist survivors affected by the April 2-6, 2025, severe weather.
Bolivar Energy Authority will begin right of way herbicide treatment in EA to Begin Herbicide Treatment of Right of Ways in the Powell Chapel Substation service area and the West Bolivar Substation service area.

Hardeman County Highway Department notes a section of Highway 64, specifically in front of Baker Glass Shop, will be closed to facilitate the installation of a cross drain, as scheduled by TDOT. There , with the possibility of the closure extending into Tuesday, based on my information. (Please note that this closure will not impact the entirety of Hwy 64).
Memphis & Shelby County Lead Safe Collaborative is serving free lunch in Somerville {Family Dollar parking lot, 17575 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville, 38068} from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.; in Whiteville {Family Dollar parking lot, 2068 U.S. Highway 64, Whiteville, 38068} from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.; and in Bolivar {Big Lake Grill, 433 East Market Street, Bolivar, 38068} from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eligible families will receive six days of lunches and snacks. Last day to register your Bolivar Middle School student to participate in Camp Bolivar. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, behind-the-scenes tours, and discover what makes the City of Bolivar special — all while making memories and new friends! The camp is free and will be held Tuesday through Friday, July 22–25, 2025. Register on the City of Bolivar website.

The Teen Book Club will meet at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library { 213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008 } at 3:30 p.m. They will do creative writing exercises.
