Disaster Recovery Center will be open in Grand Junction through Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. to assist survivors affected by the April 2-6, 2025, severe weather.

JULY 28, 2025
West Tennessee Healthcare Bolivar Hospital (550 Vildo Road, Bolivar, 38008} is holding a groundbreaking ceremony at 10 a.m.
Memphis & Shelby County Lead Safe Collaborative is serving free lunch in Somerville {Family Dollar parking lot, 17575 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville, 38068} from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.; in Whiteville {Family Dollar parking lot, 2068 U.S. Highway 64, Whiteville, 38068} from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m.; and in Bolivar {Big Lake Grill, 433 East Market Street, Bolivar, 38068} from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eligible families will receive six days of lunches and snacks. Adult Scrapbooking fun is being held at the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library { 213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008 } from at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Bolivar Farmers Market {110 Lafayette Street, Bolivar 38008} is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. (rain or shine).
It’s a Back to School celebration at Simply Addicted Boutique {100 Warren Street, Bolivar, 38008} at 10 a.m.
Bolivar Energy Authority will be closed from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. for an employee retirement party.

JULY 30, 2025
The West Tennessee Healthcare Satellite Clinic will stop at the Tractor Supply Co. and Dollar Tree parking lot {1361 West Market Street, Bolivar, 38008} from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. It offers free primary care, behavioral health, and substance use treatment services. Walk-ins are accepted or you may call (731) 541-1600 to make an appointment.
Grand Junction Elementary School {750 Pledge Street, Grand Junction, 38039} will hold Meet the Teacher from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Bolivar-Hardeman County Library { 213 North Washington Street, Bolivar, 38008 } is holding its Award Day for Summer Reading from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. for children, who participated its Summer Reading program.
Bolivar Elementary School {445 Nuckolls Road, Bolivar, 38008} will hold Meet the Teacher from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Bolivar Central High School {313 Harris Street, Bolivar, 38008} will hold Meet The Teacher from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Middleton Elementary School {180 Robin Court, Middleton, 38052} will hold Meet the Teacher from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
