Bolivar Swears in Officials for Four More Years

On Tuesday, July 1, 2025, the City of Bolivar held a swearing in ceremony for its officials who were recently re-elected in the May 2025 municipal election. Mayor Julian McTizic, Councilmen Michael Brown, Councilmen Melvin Golden, Councilwomen Suzanne Rhea, and Councilmen Tommie Woods were administered an oath of office by Judge Harriet Thompson at Bolivar City Hall.
Mayor McTizic begins his third term, and all five officials will serve in their positions for four years. During the first meeting after the swearing in ceremony, Ms. Rhea was elected as vice-mayor.
