The Middleton Community Library Summer Reading program came to a close in June, but not before it named the four top readers of the summer. The winners are Cooper, Pre-Readers winner, who also won in the 2024 Summer Readers program; Wyatt, Early Readers winner; Greta, Intermediate Readers winner; and Matthias, Pre-Teen Readers winner.

The program was held every Thursday at the library, which included special guests and fun activities for the children to enjoy. Some of the events during the program had S.T.E.M. coordinator Kasi Jones teaching the children about color using a fun tie-dye activity and rangers from Chickasaw State Park brought animals to visit. There was also rock painting fun. On the last day of the program, children turned in their reading logs, received prizes for their accomplishments, and were celebrated with an awards party. The four Summer Readers winners each received special awards, an LCD writing tablet, and an art set.

The Middleton Community Library thanks all who helped, donated, and participated in its Summer Reading Program.
