Soccer Players Came Out for HRAYS Fun Day

Soccer players took over the Middleton soccer fields on Friday, August 8, 2025, for the Hatchie River Area Youth Soccer (HRAYS) league’s Fun Day. The annual event is the kickoff for the HRAYS season, which opens on Monday, September 15, 2025.

HRAYS president Caleb Lies opened the parent information meeting during which he shared about the league, the upcoming season, and how parents could register their children to participate. The HRAYS organization has offered recreational soccer to youth in Hardeman County and its surrounding areas for more than 20 years. Several players have competed in all divisions, aged out of the league, and returned in either a coach or referee capacity.

With more than 100 children from the ages of four to high school registering for the fall 2025 season, it will be a busy period on the fields with games being played nightly Mondays through Thursdays. The HRAYS league is open for any child, age four through high school. Players come from inside and outside of Hardeman County and do not have to live in Middleton.

The HRAYS is seeking business sponsors for its 2025 season. Please e-mail the HRAYS at hraysleague@gmail.com with your interest. You may learn more about the league and register your child to play by visiting the HRAYS website. You may also follow the HRAYS league on Facebook to not miss any updates.
