Hardeman County 9-1-1 Administrative Lines Temporarily Down

The Hardeman County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications District announced on its Facebook page on the early morning of Wednesday, August 20, 2025, its lines are currently down and the agency is unsure of the cause or when service will resume. It has taken immediate measures and is using a department issued cell phone to receive 9-1-1 calls.

Residents are encouraged to still dial 911 in case of an emergency and to keep in mind a call may not be immediately answered due to the agency assisting others. Only one dispatcher at a time may use the phone.

If you need non-emergency assistance, you may call (731) 518-8081. Citizens may also send a text with your name, address, and the type of complaint, and a dispatcher will call you back. Be aware a callback by a dispatcher may come from a “blocked caller” telephone number. If you call or text, please answer that “blocked caller” call. It may be coming from the Hardeman County 911 Emergency Communications District.
