Mayor Pulse Presents Proclamation to Family of Archivist Sandra Kelly {video}

During the Hardeman County Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Hardeman County Mayor Todd Pulse took a moment to present a proclamation to the family of the late Sandra Kay Kelly, for her work as the Hardeman County Archivist for historical records. She served for 17 years in that capacity from 2008 to 2025.
Mrs. Kelly, a registered nurse by profession for about 20 years, also had a Library of Science degree, which she first earned before working in the nursing field. Once she retired from nursing, Mrs. Kelly used her library science skills and volunteered at the Jackson Madison County Library in the Tennessee Room, the Madison County Archives, and the Hardeman County Archives.
Joining Mayor Pulse in presenting the proclamation to Mrs. Kelly’s family was Hardeman County Commissioner Brad Grantham, who is over the Hardeman County Historical committee.
