Grand Junction Now Offering Free Notary Services to the Community

Grand Junction City Recorder Nicki Mayfield is offering notary services to the community.

Grand Junction now offers free notary services from Nicki Mayfield, who is the city recorder. Ms. Mayfield has only been on the job as city recorder for about three months and is already seeking ways to improve offerings for the people in the community she serves.

“People come here all the time asking if there is a notary and I think city hall is a great place to start! Everyone has to go all the way to the other end of town to the bank to get something notarized,” said Ms. Mayfield who received her notary commission on Friday, August 22, 2025. “There is always a need for a notary, and I think there should be one at city hall.”

Ms. Mayfield loves the people she works with and the interaction with the customers. She hopes notary services through city hall are a benefit to the community and will be regularly used.

Notary services are available at Grand Junction City Hall {226 Highway 57 East, Grand Junction, Tennessee 38039} Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. You do not have to be a resident of Grand Junction to use the notary services.
