HRAYS Begins Its Fall 2025 Season
On Monday, September 15, 2025, soccer players covered the fields at the Middleton Municipal Park to begin the Hatchie River Area Youth Soccer (HRAYS) 2025 fall season. A regular sight for the next few months will be players from as young as four years old to high school running across the fields looking to score a goal against their opponents and capture victory for their team.
In August, the HRAYS held its annual Fun Day for interested players and their families to learn more about the recreation league, which has been active in Middleton for more than 20 years. It was also a night of fun on the soccer field for players who participated in games and other activities.
More than 130 children and teens are participating in the HRAYS league this year, which continues through early November. The league supports itself through sponsorships from area businesses. Banners representing those businesses can be seen hanging along the fence line when you enter the soccer fields parking area.
HRAYS games are played Monday through Thursday on the Middleton soccer fields at the Municipal Park. The league is one of several opportunities for youth in Hardeman County.
