The Jackson Regional Airport, located just over the county line in Madison, is making it a very convenient option for folks in Hardeman County planning an airplane ride to their next destination. Instead of dealing with the traffic and crowds in Memphis or Nashville, Hardeman County residents have a great spot for takeoffs and landings practically in their own backyard.
The Jackson Regional Airport currently offers 12 weekly round trips. Depart from Jackson and arrive at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia or at the Chicago O’Hare International Airport in Chicago, Illinois with seamless connections to Delta, United, or American Airlines for continued travel anywhere in the world. Reservations for flights at the Jackson Regional Airport can be made from any major booking place, such as Travelocity, Expedia, or online at Denver Air Connection. The airport’s 50 passenger Denver Air Connections jet features flight attendants, a lavatory, snacks and beverages, comfortable leather seats, fold down trays, and other conveniences.
The Jackson Regional Airport is one of only six airports in Tennessee to provide TSA screening, ensuring a safe travel experience. The airport requires travelers arrive 30 minutes before a flight. As of May 2025, a REAL ID is required for air travel.
Fixed Base Operation provides fueling and other services including hangar access, tie-down, complimentary van, lounge, and more. The airport also offers on site aircraft maintenance and repair services as well as a flight training school. Hertz Rent-a-Car is also on site with rental vehicles available for air travelers or anyone in the area who needs transportation. Daily and weekly rates are available.
