Carl Perkins Family Family Feud Fundraiser Returns for Second Year
If you have not already purchased your tickets, make sure you do for the Carl Perkins Center Family Feud Live Celebrity Edition, which returns to the Hardeman County Arts Center on Saturday, September 27, 2025. The now annual fundraiser, which was held for the first time in 2024, sold out and tickets this year are expected to do the same.
Although Steve Harvey will not be here to host the event, Hardeman County has the next best thing with Tim Moss and Bodeen Denton returning as co-hosts, which definitely promises laughter and fun times.
“Again, this year, we have our mayors’ teams going at it,” said Hardeman County Advisory Board President Karen Doles, who shared more about the evening, which includes a new feature. “This year we have Team John Q. Public competing against some members of our law enforcement, so we can see who really is the top dog. We also have some exciting auction events this year, so be sure and bring your money!”
There will be three rounds with the following competing teams and players:
Round 1
BCHS Team: Brittany Avent, Wanda Grantham, Linda McKinnie, Clarissa Spencer, and Robin Stebbins.
MHS Team: Amanda Clutter, Makayla Brown, James Davis, Brochetta Joy, and Terry Mills.
Round 2
Law Enforcement Team: Chris Burkeen, Justin Bryant, Billy Davis, Mike Jones, and Steven Stanley.
John Q Public Team: Steve Trainum, Jerry Wayne Avent, Melanie Harris, Clifton Lockett, and Ashley Williams.
Round 3
County Team: Todd Pulse, John Doolen, Michon Gatlin, Tonet Griggs, and Josh Pulse.
City Team: Julian McTizic, Chris Burkeen, Mike Jones, Gary McTizic, and Caroline Miller.
If you are keeping a tally, note Team City was victorious over Team County last year. Hmm, which team will claim the victory in 2025?
Tickets are $20 for Steve Harvey’s Hot Seats (first two rows of the auditorium) and $15 for general admission. You may purchase tickets to the Carl Perkins Center Family Feud Live Celebrity Edition online now and at the door, if they are still available.
