Deputy Tyler Dickey Completes Academy, Ready to Serve Community

On Friday, September 26, 2025, Hardeman County Deputy Tyler Dickey graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in Nashville, Tennessee. He now joins the ranks as part of the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department serving the community in which he grew up.
Deputy Dickey began his career with the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office in 2022 in the jail as a correctional officer. In early 2025, Mr. Dickey was promoted to the position of deputy. After successfully completing an extensive 12-week training program at the Academy, he graduated with peers from across the State of Tennessee.
“Deputy Dickey has been an integral part of our department for the past three years. With his athleticism, relentless drive, and genuine passion for his work, he consistently goes above and beyond, making a significant impact every day,” said Sheriff John Doolen. “We extend our congratulations to Deputy Tyler Dickey, our newest certified deputy!”
