Mollie Nuckolls Crowned Miss Bolivar Bicentennial {full video}

On Sunday, October 12, 2025, Mollie Nuckolls, a Bolivar Central High School senior, was crowned Miss Bolivar Bicentennial. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and a title, which will be held for, well, the next 200 years. The Miss Bolivar Bicentennial Pageant was the kickoff to the City of Bolivar’s bicentennial events, which will be held throughout the rest of October.

There were six contestant categories:

  • Baby Miss (Ages 0 – 18 months)
  • Tiny Miss (Ages 19 months – 3 yrs)
  • Little Miss (Ages 4 yrs – 6 yrs)
  • Junior Miss (Ages 7 yrs – 10yrs)
  • Teen Miss (Ages 11 yrs – 14 yrs)
  • Miss (Ages 15 yrs – 18 yrs

Girls wore beautiful frilly dresses to evening gowns. The first category of contestants from zero to 18 months were carried onto the stage for presentation. As the age of contestants moved from Tiny Miss to Little Miss, the younger girls were guided on stage with hand holding, leading to the older age girls walking on the stage with more independence and confidence. As each girl sashayed across the stage, family and friends in the audience encouraged them with applause and cheers.
