Beta Sigma Chapter, DKG Explores Financial Literacy
The Beta Sigma Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG), met in October at the Hardeman County Public Library to learn about financial literacy through a program provided by Regions Bank. As part of the Regions Next Step education outreach, Bolivar branch manager Sylvia Harris and senior relationship banker Caroline Vandiver shared information on preparing for and navigating retirement. They highlighted investment products and services offered by the bank, shared calculators and other tools available on the bank’s website, and answered specific questions about annuities, IRAs, and trusts.
Ms. Harris Ms. Vandiver offered such an abundance of information and expertise that the chapter hopes to invite them back for Financial Literacy, Part II.
