Catherine Gibson to Serve on Tennessee 4-H State Council

Hardeman County’s Catherine Gibson will serve on the 2025/2026 Tennessee 4-H State Council as the Western Region Senior Representative. In 2024/2025, Catherine served as a Junior Representative and has been a 4-H member since she was in the fourth grade.

According to the 4-H Tennessee State Facebook page, the students “will lead by example, share their voices, and work together to create opportunities that will inspire the next generation of 4-H youth.”

Catherine, a home school student, joins more than 20 other 4-H students in state leadership positions. Along with her peers, Catherine will represent more than 151,000 4-H students across Tennessee. She holds the same position her brother, Steven Gibson, held during the 2023/2024 school year.

“I’ve grown the most through 4-H through my friendships and leadership abilities and talking with others making friends and being able to serve,” Catherine shared with Hatchie Press.
