Anna Claire Todd Receives Nursing Bachelor of Science from Union University

Anna Claire Todd received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Accelerated from Union University on Saturday, December 13, 2025. As part of Union University’s 201st ceremony, Anna Claire was one of 203 students in the fall 2025 graduating class. She was also named to the fall 2025 Union University Dean’s List.

A Bolivar resident, Anna Claire attended high school and graduated from Fayette Academy in 2020. Anna Claire continued her education at Mississippi State University where she graduated in 2024 with a degree in Biological Sciences.

Although she was already accomplished with a college degree, Anna Claire desired to learn more. Continuing her studies at Union University provided that opportunity. Not only would she acquire news skills and knowledge, but she would be able to do so in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSNA) program, which would allow her to graduate sooner.

“The program at Union was the Accelerated BSN program which essentially means a fast-track BSN where traditional students would do it in 24 months, my classmates and I did it in 15 months,” said Anna Claire. “Union University provided immense opportunities to grow and learn under Christ-centered leadership. Especially being in the accelerated nursing program, they offered a ton of support and strengthened my academic knowledge, while ensuring hands on learning was a priority.”

Now newly graduated, Anna Claire is looking forward to putting in practice what she learned in program. She also has plans to further her education in the future.

“Right now, I took a position in the Nurse Residency Program at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. I hope to continue my education in a few years to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA).
