Suspect Caught After Pursuit Continued in Hardeman County
On Sunday, January 11, 2026, the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department released a statement regarding a truck and trailer pursuit, which started in Alcorn, Mississippi, and entered into Hardeman County, Tennessee.
According to the statement, the suspect, who was identified as Casey Wilson of Adamsville, exited the vehicle and fled on foot, evading capture. After an extensive search, Wilson was located and apprehended on Sunday morning around the Lake Vonda area, which was several miles from where the foot pursuit began Wednesday evening.
The Hardeman County Sheriff’s Office appreciates the cooperation of its partner agencies and thanks the public for its patience during the incident.
