Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade to be Held in Bolivar, January 17

The Parade Committee for the Hardeman County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration cordially invites all Hardeman County citizens to come and participate in the 34th annual parade to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for his life of sacrifice and build upon his legacy of service to others. 

The parade will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Participants are asked to sign in at Bolivar Elementary School at 12:00 noon. There is no fee to enter the parade. 

The Grand Marshalls for the parade will be the senior class president of Bolivar Central High School, Ms. Ke’Shiyah Allen, and the senior class president of Middleton High School, Ms. Harmany Bell.

Hardeman County Community Groups, Organizations, and all prior Grand Marshalls of the parade are invited to join in this celebration.

The vision for the 2026 parade is: “A high quality public education is a must for our community.” 

In case of inclement weather, the parade will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
