City of Bolivar Holds January Council Meeting {video}

The City of Bolivar held its monthly City Council Meeting on Monday, January 12, 2025.

Present were City Council members Michael Brown, Melvin Golden, Todd Lowe, Larry McKinnie, Caroline Miller, Suzanne Rhea, Chris Williams, Tommie Woods, and Mayor Julian McTizic. Larry McKinnie was absent.

Some of the items discussed during the meeting:

– A Public Forum will be held on March 9, 2026, to discuss fluoride in the Bolivar water supply.

Mayor McTizic reported that painting was nearly complete at the old armory building and pickleball and dance would be moving from the municipal center to the old armory building soon.
