Obituary: Brion Wilson

Brion Wilson, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on March 2, 2026, in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 50. Born on February 16, 1976, Brion made a profound impact on all who knew him through his unwavering commitment to family, his diligent work ethic, and his warm-hearted spirit.

Having moved from Memphis to Hardeman County in 1990, Brion established himself as a dedicated truck driver, owning and operating his own business while also working for notable companies like Sysco, Jet-Ex, and Legacy Logistics. He was known as the hardest working man, never missing a day at work and always willing to lend a helping hand to his fellow colleagues and friends.

Brion was more than just a diligent worker; he was a beacon of humor and kindness. His infectious laughter could brighten the darkest of days, and anyone who crossed his path knew they could count on him. A devout Christian, Brion embodied the values of love, faith, and community, touching lives in ways that will long be remembered.

As a family man, Brion deeply loved his wife, Lynne Wilson, and their sons, Jakob, Zach, Andrew, and Jarrett Wilson. He took great pride in nurturing their passions, teaching them to play football and baseball, and instilling in them the joys of outdoor activities and fishing. His love for his family was matched only by his passion for the Tennessee Volunteers, a team he followed with fervor and enthusiasm.

Brion is survived by his beloved wife, Lynne, and their five sons, Jakob (Amanda), Zach, Andrew (Kayla), and Jarrett. He is also remembered fondly by his brother, Richard Wilson. Brion was preceded in death by his father, Walter Patrick Wilson, and his mother, Rosemary Wilson Van Boxtel, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.

Family and friends were invited to celebrate Brion’s life during visitation on March 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Middleton, Tennessee.

Brion Wilson’s legacy will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones, a testament to a life well-lived and a spirit that continues to inspire.
