Voting Machines Tested Ahead of Election

The inspection and testing of the Early Voting and Election Day machines was held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Hardeman County Election Commission office in Bolivar. As required by T.C.A. 2-9-105, the Hardeman County Election Commission inspected the voting machines prior to Early Voting and Election Day to determine they are in good working order for the Tuesday, May 5, 2026, State and County Primary Election.

Early voting for the State and County Primary Election begins Wednesday, April 15 and runs through Thursday, April 30, 2026. The deadline to request absentee ballots has been set for Saturday, April 25, 2026. The voter registration deadline is Monday, April 6, 2026.

Early voting will take place at the Election Commission office in Bolivar, which relocated to 227 Lucy Black Road, Bolivar, TN, in 2024. {click here to read more about the move}

Early voting hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
