Bolivar to Host Community Block Party – Celebrating 1,000 Days with No Homicides
The City of Bolivar is proud to celebrate an incredible milestone – 1,000 days with no homicides. To celebrate this moment together, they are inviting the whole community to join them for a Community Block Party.
“This achievement reflects the strength of our community, the dedication of our public safety teams, and the commitment of our citizens to look out for one another. To celebrate this moment together, we invite you to join us for a Community Block Party,” shared the City on social media. “This milestone belongs to all of us—let’s come together to celebrate the spirit, safety, and unity that make Bolivar such a special place to call home.”
The Block Party is scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Sand Beach Lake Park on Highway 64, in Bolivar. (Click here to read more about Sand Beach Lake)
