Robert Rosson, a family man and skilled craftsman, passed away at his home in Whiteville, Tennessee, on May 5, 2026. Born in Somerville, Tennessee, on February 25, 1961, Robert lived a rich and fulfilling life marked by his deep commitment to his loved ones and his enduring love of work and creativity.

Robert was a resident of Hardeman County for more than thirty years, where he established a reputation as not only a hardworking professional but also as a talented artist and handyman. His career spanned several companies, culminating in his current position at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Bolivar.

An alumnus of Memphis State, now known as the University of Memphis, Robert pursued his education with a thirst for knowledge during his two years of study there. Beyond his professional life, he was a man of many talents and passions. He found great joy in working in the yard, playing music, and sharing playful moments with his cherished dog, Nala. A gifted cook, Robert was especially renowned for his skill at the grill, delighting family and friends with his culinary creations. Above all, he treasured the time spent with his grandchildren, cherishing those moments beyond all else.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Katie Rosson Salazar and her husband, Jesus of Holly Springs, Mississippi; his sons, Chris Rosson of Memphis and Corey Rosson of Nashville; his brother, Mike Rosson and his wife Tracy of Eads; and his beloved grandchildren, Madison and Christian Salazar. Their love and memories will continue to honor his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Rosson, his mother, Emily Moore Rosson, and his grandparents, Roy and Ruby Moore, and Romelda Rosson, who have all played a foundational role in shaping the man he became.

We remember Robert Rosson as a man whose work ethic, artistic spirit, and loving heart touched many lives. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends and the community he so deeply cared for.
