UT/TSU Extension to Host Herb Garden Kit Workshop
The UT/TSU Extension Office in Hardeman County will host a Herb Garden Kit Workshop on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the UT/TSU Extension Office located at 210 Vildo Road in Bolivar.
This hands-on workshop is designed for gardeners of all skill levels who are interested in growing fresh herbs at home. Participants will create their own herb garden kit while learning the basics of herb selection, planting, care, and harvesting. Herbs are a great addition to home landscapes and can be used to enhance meals, teas, and other household products.
The workshop fee is $10 per person and includes materials for the herb garden kit. Pre-registration is required, as space and supplies are limited.
“Growing herbs is an easy and rewarding way to begin gardening or expand an existing garden,” said Rachel Howell, TSU Extension Agent. “Participants will leave with practical knowledge and a garden kit they can enjoy throughout the growing season.”
Those interested in attending should register in advance by contacting Rachel Howell, TSU Extension Agent, at 731-658-2421 or by email at rparker1@utk.edu.
For additional educational programs and events offered by UT/TSU Extension Hardeman County, follow the office on social media or contact the Extension Office.
