Bill’s Flowers Brings Hands-On Fun to Master Gardeners Meeting
Hardeman County Master Gardeners are filling November with activities that include a floral workshop, an arboretum tour, school visits and a community landscaping project.
The group’s recent monthly meeting featured Lisa Pulse of Bill’s Flowers, who brought a hands-on flower bar for members. Participants created their own floral arrangements, learned new techniques and practiced making bows during an evening of creativity and fellowship.
Several additional activities are planned throughout the month. Members will tour the LaGrange Arboretum on November 11, followed by the Master Gardener Banquet on November 17. November 9 is the final day to purchase banquet tickets.
On November 30, the group will help clean up and spruce up the landscaping at the Little Courthouse.
Master Gardeners are also visiting local schools throughout November in celebration of Tennessee Agriculture Literacy Week. Those visits will give members opportunities to share the importance of agriculture with students.
