Join your neighbors for the Second Saturday Community Walks on November 12 at the walking path gazebo in Hickory Valley at 9 a.m. or at the Grand Junction City Park at 8 a.m. In the event of inclement weather Grand Junction walk will move to the Lafayette Gin.
The La Grange General Store, 25 Main Street, La Grange, will host Story Hour with Gary Locke on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. This is a Veteran’s Day fireside chat with La Grange’s own 100 year old Naval Captain.
It’s the last weekend to check out the City of Bolivar Community Garden Scarecrow Contest at Pleasant Run Creek Park. The park is located at 100 Stevens Road in Bolivar just north of the intersection of West Market Street and Stevens Road. Snap a picture with our Leonardo da Vinci – Mona Lisa photo op and send it to us at news@hatchiepress.com.

Go and see Ticket to Paradise (RATED PG-13) at the Luez Theater. Showtimes are Friday at 7 p.m., and Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
